They stopped following up with me. During the interview, they told me I would advance to the next phase, and then out of nowhere, I got an automated rejection email. Very poor process management, they ghosted me.

The first meeting was half an hour and shortly after they asked me for a second interview the following week - then a technical interview - then a third final one. Pretty easy and the people were very nice, I didn't encounter any difficulties.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process felt a bit all over the place. Started with a friendly HR call, then an IQ test which seemed a bit much for the role. The next person I spoke to wasn't even on the team I'd be joining. The big finale was a massive task: create a brand new event concept, a multi-million pound budget, a huge marketing plan, and full global logistics for a new event. This was for a £34k/year job where the actual role was just implementing decisions. During the presentation, I got grilled on my concept and marketing, even though the job was for a mid-level manager who wouldn't be making those big strategic calls. The task felt way too senior for what they were hiring. Apparently, I didn't get it because my concept was too broad, with the feedback being it should have focused on one element, despite showing good attention to detail and logistics understanding. It's disappointing the final decision hinged on a task more suited for a role two levels higher. The whole thing took about 6 weeks.
