First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fever.
Business Development Manager
The interview had 5 rounds: first HR, then a GMAT-like quiz, followed by a GM interview, then a peer interview, and finally a case study presentation. Overall, the discussions were positive and gave a good feel for the culture. The GMAT-like quiz should be easy for anyone who's taken the GMAT or GRE. The case study at the end was quite engaging, focusing on identifying and approaching potential partners in your market.
- Could you identify five potential strategic partners in your market, and then select one? Please explain your choice and outline your approach.
Senior Business Development Manager
I've interviewed with Fever twice now for the same role and spent a lot of time on it both times. It's a bummer because I made it pretty far along, but I didn't get the job and they didn't give me much feedback. It makes me wonder about how Fever hires people and if they're upfront about it. It feels like maybe they were just trying to see what was out there in the market instead of actually wanting to hire someone. It's pretty discouraging when you're really interested in the company and want to help it succeed. I hope Fever thinks about its hiring process again to make sure it's fair to candidates' time and hopes.
- Why are you interested in Fever?
Business Development Associate
The CEO reached out on LinkedIn about a role that wasn't posted anywhere. I had a call with the Talent Team and then a more casual first round with someone from Sales. The second round had two parts: a sales pitch where I had to figure out how to pitch my current company to get their business and list all their festivals on the Fever app, and also find 20 live leads. It felt like they reached out because of where I work and wanted info on my company, and asking for 20 live leads felt unreasonable.
- Tell me about your sales experience.
- How would you pitch your current employer (a global live events/festival company) to secure their business and get all their festivals listed on the Fever app?
- Identify and provide 20 live leads that you believe should be featured on the app.
