Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ferrero.
Customer Marketing Manager
First there was a phone call with HR, then an interview with my future manager and the department head which included a 30-minute case study. After that, there were logic and math tests, followed by a final HR interview.
- Do you have a childhood memory involving one of our products?
Trade Marketing Manager
The interview was with the head of trade marketing and the HR business partner. The questions were standard interview questions. The only issue was the head of department's very condescending and superior attitude, with frequent irritations because I refused to answer questions about confidential data from my current company. Months after the interview, no feedback was received... My impression of Ferrero from the interview was that of a local multinational with a closed and old-fashioned mentality. If this is their attitude towards employees, I would advise looking elsewhere.
- Tell us about your background.
- How would you resolve a conflict situation between sales and marketing?
- Describe a situation of failure and success.
Trade Marketing Manager
it was a very complex process, with many steps. There was an online test covering English, logic, math, economics, and marketing. Then there were group exercises with other candidates in person, followed by individual interviews with managers and team members.
- Questions mainly about Excel
- Questions mainly about math
