Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ferrero.
Commercial Manager
There were 2 interviews, and both were interesting experiences with different styles. It would have been great to have some preparation information. They were looking for a specific culture/personality, which wasn't made clear. I was disrupted a few times and really put on the spot. The job spec was very different from the actual role expectations. The second interview was much more pleasant but also very vague. Considering the time and effort involved, I wish they understood the impact of these situations on candidates and gave them a chance to understand the full role requirements.
- How do you handle senior stakeholders with competing interests?
Management Trainee
It's a very simple process with two interviews, one with HR and another with the boss. First, HR calls you to schedule a call with the department head. Then, depending on your interview, where nothing complicated is asked, you are selected.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Maintenance Manager
The interview process had 4 steps. First, a call with an HR recruiter from the employment agency Ferrero uses. Second, if you have less than 2 years of work experience, you'll take a test on logic, reading comprehension, and English usage. Third, there's an interview with Amazon's technical leads for Maintenance and a Ferrero HR representative. Fourth, a group interview with other candidates competing for different positions.
- There were many questions about my current job.
- Questions were asked about Ferrero, what I know about Ferrero, and what fascinates me.
- Questions were asked about my interest in taking on a role of responsibility with a team that reports directly to me.
