First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fein Such Kahn & Shepard.
Legal Secretary
The interview process at fein such Kahn and Shepard was pretty good and went smoothly. I was lucky enough to get an offer on the second day of interviewing.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Paralegal
Applied via monster.com and got an interview request about a week later. The HR person was very detailed, covering benefits, the job description, and what a typical day looks like. They seemed as interested in my personality as my experience. They asked a lot about how I felt regarding past jobs, supervisors, and work duties - nothing too hard to answer. The entire interview was 30 minutes. An offer came 2 days later, which I accepted.
- Could you share your greatest weakness?
Attorney
I first spoke with HR, and then I had an interview with the managing counsel.
- Tell me about your greatest strength.
Assistant Case Manager
I interviewed for the Assistant Case Manager role a couple of weeks back. I met with Mr. Golub, a managing attorney, and Jessica from HR. They were both really nice and professional. It seems the Glassdoor reviews aren't totally accurate. Jessica was pleasant, and I realized HR won't be difficult if you're doing your job right, contrary to what some reviews said. Mr. Golub was also very nice and made the interview feel comfortable and easy. Jessica was direct and honest, which was helpful. Sadly, I found out this morning they chose another candidate, so I'm trying to be unbiased in my review.
- Do your homework, and you'll do fine.
