The online assessment and phone technical interview were fine, but the on-site interview was horrible. The interviewer seemed inexperienced, giving me only one easy LeetCode question that I had already solved. After I provided a fast solution, she indicated it wasn't what she was looking for. I then spent time offering another solution. To my surprise, she then stated that my initial solution was actually the correct one, leading me to re-submit it. Following the whiteboard question, she searched her laptop for more questions. She found one I didn't know the answer to, and when I asked for her input or the correct answer, she advised me to Google it first. I did research it post-interview, and her provided answer was incorrect. I did not receive an offer, but even if I had, I would not have accepted it or worked with such a developer.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

First phase was a phone interview. Second phase was still 1 hour with recruiters, with more questions than usual, and a presentation of the company and two parts (one in English). Third phase was a 1h30 technical interview with two programming people. First part had more questions about projects, theoretical questions, best practices, architecture, and choices. Second part was a 30 min live coding of a very extensive problem that is confusing due to so much info. Everyone who interviewed me was nice and tried to help during the technical challenge or pick up on what I said when I was stuck.

  • Could you elaborate on data structures, architectural choices, and the pros and cons of different approaches?
