I had a mixed experience interviewing with Feedz.ai: Strong Leadership, Gaps in Hiring Process I first connected with a senior leader who was thoughtful, responsive, and kind. They introduced me to the hiring manager, which I appreciated and saw as a positive signal about the company’s leadership culture. Unfortunately, the experience declined after that. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never heard back from the hiring manager. Later, I spoke with a recruiter, but the conversation felt more like an interrogation than a two-way discussion about mutual fit or the value I could bring to the team. After that conversation, communication went silent for several weeks before I eventually got a rejection email. I understand that not every candidate will move forward, but clearer communication and basic professional courtesy, especially when an introduction is made by senior leadership, would have significantly improved the candidate experience. That said, I want to acknowledge that the senior leader I interacted with remained professional, responsive, and respectful throughout the process, which left a positive impression and speaks well of the leadership at the top. Overall, while the role did not work out, I hope the company invests more in creating a consistent and respectful candidate experience across all stages of the hiring process.

It's a 4 stage process, as found on the company website. First, an initial chat with the recruitment/talent team. Second, a technical interview where we did a deep dive into a system I knew well, covering many areas in detail. Third, they assessed my management skills, mostly with situational questions about delivery, managing people, setting priorities, and communication. Finally, a role and culture fit discussion with a senior leader, also using situational questions to understand what's crucial for the role and team.

The interview experience was structured into several distinct phases. It began with an initial HR call, lasting about 20-30 minutes, where my background was reviewed, the role discussed, and my general interest and fit were assessed. Following that, I had an interview with the Operations Manager. This was a behavioral interview focusing on my past experiences, my problem-solving approaches, and my teamwork skills. The next stage involved a Case Study Presentation combined with a Panel Interview. I had to prepare and present a case study, which was then followed by interviews with several team members. This part assessed my analytical abilities and how well I communicate. Finally, there was a Final Interview with the Line Manager, which was more of a strategic discussion about future goals, how I fit with company values, and a chance for me to ask any remaining questions. Overall, the process was lengthy but very well-planned. Even with the multiple stages, the team was efficient and agile in moving between rounds, making it feel both thorough and quick.

Behavioral Presentation

It was 3 rounds total. First was HR, then the Operational Manager, and finally the Head of Department. The main part was a presentation of my career path and experience. We also discussed my motivations, the role itself, the company's business, and the context. The team locations were also brought up. It was a pleasant conversation with everyone, and at some points, we even exchanged ideas.
