The interview process with Becca went well and she was great to speak with and very upbeat. Feedvisor fast tracked me once they realized i was in my final round with Amazon. 1st round a phone interview with the recruiter 2nd with Nir the Account Manager Team Lead he was a straight shooter and the phone call went well. 3rd round is a "Simulation" but it really is a Excel sheet to fill in which was easy enough but they don't give you insight at all. Just here's some data (full of errors) exported to an excel sheet. I followed up several times and asked for guidance being I didn't live in excel in my current role. All the feedback i received was "act as if the data is correct and let's see what you come up with" i reached out to the recruiter next and she informed me that this is a common issue for most applicants and she doesn't know how to help. I completed the excel sheet but couldn't find any insights in the data being it was just random numbers with zero context. I asked straight forward questions via email for help, like, It appears there are fewer cost identifiers (from the second tab) than there are unique identifiers (on the third tab). So, either there are missing cost identifiers or the cost is zero. - my response was basically make it work Then i asked - is this the cost per item or total, as it will impact your profit. I calculated assuming cost is per item and that you are counting all sales (i.e. ignoring quantity in stock). Ultimately, you’ll need to know whether columns F-I need to be included in your net profit formula. - my response hey just make it work I was excited about this role but had to withdraw my application due to this poor experience.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • They ask you to complete an Excel sheet for a client that is full of errors and present your findings with zero context of the numbers in the sheet, which isn't relevant to the role.
  • Could you please act as if the data is correct and let's see what you come up with?
  • It seems there are fewer cost identifiers (from the second tab) than there are unique identifiers (on the third tab); therefore, either cost identifiers are missing or the cost is zero.

The interview process was really organized and they communicated well, but it felt a bit rigid. I had about 6 interviews, even meeting the CEO. They didn't move forward with me because I asked about growth opportunities and potentially relocating in the future, which they weren't interested in. The main focus was on how I would fit into their organization, emphasizing that they value hard work, being vocal, and collaborating. They didn't really explain what the company could offer me in terms of work culture or career development, which was a letdown. It seems they're looking for candidates who are essentially workhorses.

Met in person in downtown NYC with several people with various titles. Was considered for an alternate position but it was too junior.
