Federal Reserve Board Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

I applied online and a recruiter reached out for an initial phone screening. Then, we scheduled a call with two interviewers. They asked me questions about what the Federal Reserve is and some general behavioral and technical questions. They also answered my questions about the work environment, but didn't seem to know much about the job itself. The recruiter called me back after that and invited me to DC for another round. I accepted, they took my info, gave me a date, and said they'd send flight details. But, I never heard back from them, even after calling and emailing. I didn't get the follow-up interview or the time off I took for the trip. Honestly, if this is how they treat people, I guess I'm glad I didn't end up working there.

It was two interviews total. The first was a phone call where they wanted to know about my past experiences and see if I'd be a good fit. The second interview was on-site and had more technical questions. After that, we did a tour and I spent the day with the other analysts.

First I talked to a recruiter who then set up a 30-minute phone interview for me. Two guys on the phone told me a little about themselves and their division. They asked me mostly behavioral questions. I had time to ask my questions at the end.
