First, I had a phone call where we discussed the interview process and the general details of the position with the hiring manager. The actual interview, which was virtual, with the survey manager happened about a week later.

I've had two interviews with The Fed. One was very technical, which should be expected for IT/Research related positions. Overall, as long as you're knowledgeable on your resume there should be no worries. Would definitely recommend being extremely knowledgeable on a tool/application related to the industry.

After initial contact, I had two panel interviews where I was asked behavioural and benefits-related questions. The recruiter was communicative via phone, text, and email until after the second panel interview, after which I experienced ghosting. Despite my attempts to reach out via phone and email for four weeks, I received no response. I eventually contacted one of the hiring managers for closure, and the recruiter contacted me back the following day. This unprofessional behaviour, where a simple follow-up seems difficult for organisations, left a negative impression, and I'm glad I wasn't selected if this is how they treat candidates.

First, jobs are posted on the bank's website. Then, if the bank is interested after you submit a resume online, an internal recruiter will contact you to invite you for an interview. Initially, you'll complete an online IQ-style assessment on a computer in the HR department and also a writing assessment. Following that, you'll participate in a group panel interview where you'll be asked questions about your work experience and your qualifications for the job.
