The hiring journey wasn't too tough, here's how it went. First, you apply online. If your grades are decent (2:2 or above), you'll likely get a call for stage two. This call is basically to chat about why you want this gig and some other standard HR stuff. Next up are online tests. If you've done psychometric tests before, these should be a breeze. They throw way more questions at you than most places, though, so practice your pattern recognition, number crunching, and verbal stuff beforehand. After that, you'll have a virtual assessment centre. This is where you meet other candidates and have three 15-minute chats with different FDM folks in breakout rooms. Pretty standard competency-based interviews, really. If you do well, you'll get the job offer. Just a heads-up, the advertised starting salary on job sites is a bit misleading - expect no more than £25k. Salary bumps over the first two years are slow, and you're left guessing about your placement after training. It's a tough contract, so maybe look at places like Kubrick first. Honestly, with all the free learning online, you could do this training yourself at home without being tied down. If FDM is your only shot, brace yourself for a two-year commitment and a pretty low salary.

Had a phone call, then a technical assessment, followed by a technical interview and a behavioral interview. They responded quickly, within 2 business days, and were really friendly. I heard that one candidate who passed the technical interview but didn't pass the behavioral one was given a second chance to retake the behavioral interview by FDM.

About a week after submitting my application, I got a call from HR. They gave me a quick rundown of the company and set up the first online video interview for the following week. The invite mentioned it would be 25 minutes, but it ran over to 35 minutes. Everything was in English and they threw a ton of questions at me. It felt like they asked over twenty questions in total, covering things like my internship, why I picked FDM and consulting, my tech knowledge, and how I handle pressure, prioritizing, and dealing with colleagues needing help or when I'm stuck on a problem.
