Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FDM Group.
Consultant
It was a long online process with many stages, and I eventually got an offer. Then, for some reason, I was put on a waiting list for over 18 months. After that, I had to redo the entire interview process in person, likely because they realized they had offered too many positions and needed to reduce their candidate pool. Following that, I waited several more months before they stopped responding. The entire experience was disorganized and frustrating, with candidates left in limbo without any updates on the timeline. The interviews themselves were mostly standard competency checks and an IQ test, involving numerous steps before ending up in a waiting period.

Consultant
It started with three rounds of phone interviews. After that, there was a group interview with at least three key stakeholders. They asked a variety of questions about my education and background to see how I handle pressure with multiple people involved. Then there was a scenario-based round with multiple candidates, which was super competitive and challenging seeing so many people going for the same role. It was important to understand the expectations and stay focused on the task because they were looking for various skills.

First we had a phone call to chat about my experience and some basic questions. Then, there was a tech interview where they asked about Java and gave me a coding problem. The last interview was on Zoom and focused on soft skills.
