Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FDM Group.
Analyst
During the phone interview, there was a pause because the recruiter needed to check the job description to understand the role's requirements. The entire interview process felt like they were just ticking boxes from the job description rather than truly valuing my experience. I would not recommend this company.
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
Technical Analyst
The whole process was conducted online and it was a good interview process. There was one phone screening, one online test, one video interview, and a live zoom interview that included a technical interview and a strength-based interview.
- In what ways would resilience benefit you in a consultant role?
Technical Analyst
This place will really string you along. The interview process itself was pretty simple and easy. They were helpful throughout. I was told I got the job verbally, but they said a contract couldn't be given until closer to the start date, about 2 months away. Then, 2 months later, they said I needed to do another interview. After that last interview, they told me I didn't get the job. It made no sense and felt like a total waste of my time. I was checking in with the recruiter regularly, and they kept telling me not to worry and that I had the job. Then, completely out of the blue, they said I had to do another interview.
