Business Leader
The interview process at FCM Meetings & Events involved four interviews. I wasn't told that an internal candidate was being considered until the end, which didn't seem fair since neither external candidate was selected. On the plus side, the interviewers were professional and supportive, and the process was well-structured and intellectually stimulating. However, I think they should be more transparent about internal candidates, clearly state the selection criteria, and offer constructive feedback to help candidates improve.
- Tell me about your proudest accomplishments.
Senior Software Engineer
The interview experience was really good and respectful of my time. It had stages for soft skills questions and an assessment I had to complete within a few days. I then discussed this assessment with a core technical team member. Now that I'm working here, I can see the assessment was very relevant to the company's actual work, which is great.
- Can you elaborate on the implementation decisions you made for the assessment?
- Could you share details about your past roles?
- What accomplishments did you have in your previous positions?
Assistant Manager
I had an interview for the Assistant Manager role in MICE. The interview process was pretty smooth. The HR person, Ambar Mirkar, conducted the interview. It felt more like a casual chat, which made it easy for me to share my experiences. What was really great was Ambar's help when my previous company was giving me trouble with my relieving letter and other stuff. He guided me through it all, and I really appreciate that. HR is usually the first person you meet from a new company, and Ambar's approach was really thoughtful and supportive, which says a lot about him and FCM Travels. His support was a big reason I decided to take the offer, showing how much the company cares about its employees and its good work culture.
- Can you tell me about your past experiences, your family background, your skills, and what you are hoping for in the future?
- Tell me about your professional journey and what you look forward to.
- I was asked about my past experiences, my family background, my skills, and what I look forward to.
Técnico De Segurança Do Trabalho
I had two interviews, one by phone and another in person. They were very transparent and informative. The interviewers were friendly and had a clear idea of the profile they were looking for. Even though I wasn't selected, and I understand why, it was one of the most welcoming companies during the process.
- Why did you apply for this position?
- What differentiates you from other candidates?
- What are your salary expectations?
