First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FCB Global.
Project Manager
I had an initial chat with HR. It was pretty laid-back, and they described the Project Manager role as being the central point of the company. I got some info about the job, like the hybrid work setup (3 days in office), the pay, what tools we'd use, and the different types of clients we could be working with.
- What are your salary expectations?
Project Manager
I applied online, then got a super rushed interview invite from HR for later that day. I couldn't take it, so I emailed back saying I was free the next day. No reply, so I called HR directly and scheduled a call for 11 am. That call didn't happen until 1 pm, and it was really aggressive and not nice, and they wouldn't let me ask about the role. The next day, I was supposed to interview with two directors. Before that, I got an email clarifying that the role was for a PM at FCB Canada but working for Fuel Content, same location and job description. I sent the original JD again and was told it was the same role. Then I bombed the in-person interview because I wasn't set up for success.
- Can you tell me about a project that didn't go well and what you learned from it?
Senior Project Manager
It was a great experience. I spoke directly to my would-be director and didn't have to go through 5 or 6 other people. I had multiple phone snafu's (dead battery dropped call) and he was patient and attentive throughout. Great experience - would have loved to work for that guy.
- Why are you leaving New York?
