The interview process is pretty straightforward and short, with three main steps. The first interview is brief to check if you meet the basic requirements. After that, there's a training session. If you do well in the training, they'll extend a job offer, and you'd typically start the following week. You usually hear back about whether you've advanced to the second stage, the training, either the next day or the day after the first interview.

DON'T DO IT. No matter what the job posting says this IS a door to door sales position. They called me in for a preliminary interview, which could have been done over the phone, that lasted about five minutes. We had to fill out an application by hand detailing work experience, expected salary, how far away we lived, and if we drove. When that was done, the same questions were asked. The lady, Tara, said I should expect a call later that day by 5:00pm because she had 20 other candidates to interview and only 5 would be selected for a second interview. I got a call back and was scheduled for the second interview the next day. I came in the next morning and there was yet another questionnaire to fill out. They made us wait for about 20 minutes before calling us back individually into an office where we were placed with "team leads" who would teach us more about the company. The team leads took me outside to the street and started explaining that we would be doing sales for some clean energy company in Maryland. Hours are 11:00-8:00 M-F and 12-6 on Saturdays. The lead asked how long I intended to stay, and I said about a year and a half because I am currently enrolled in community college and will be transferring to Boston. He said well we want to expand our company so maybe you can open a location for us in Boston. I said I wasn't sure marketing was something I wanted to go into as a career and I am currently studying journalism (I absolutely hate marketing and sales but I was trying not to be rude. Besides, I had applied for a freaking receptionist position, not a door to door salesman position). He said well I didn't go to school for marketing but here I am. He then went as far as asking what "my boyfriend would think about the work hours." Basically even if you applied for an office position, you have to do door to door sales and make a certain amount of sales for at least a few months before you are "promoted" to an office position. After that torturous process we were taken back inside where we had to take a test on the things the leads had told us.

The initial interview was super quick, like 5 minutes on the phone, mostly asking about having transport, full-time or part-time, and start date. They mentioned interviewing 20 people for 5 spots in the second round, but it felt like way more people were coming in for various jobs with false promises. I made it to the second round where a 'team leader' took me outside to explain I'd be a door-to-door salesman for Verizon. Then, I had to go inside and try to impress the manager who seemed clueless. It would've been better to just apply to Verizon directly.

Management Trainee
It started with a phone call where a woman explained the job and asked a couple of questions. Then, I had the first round with the CEO, which was quick and easy. After that, I had a second round with another woman. She made the job sound amazing and also tried to make me and the other girl interviewing feel dumb. Then, a third round happened the same day, also brief and straightforward. Looking back, they definitely weren't fully truthful to make the job seem better.
