Director
It was a chill and comfortable interview process, more of a conversation. They were checking if I was a good fit and if the role was a good fit for me. The questions were relevant and nothing unexpected came up. Everyone was nice and the interviewers seemed really smart.
- What would be your approach to establishing KPIs if you were hired for this role?
Intern
So the process was pretty smooth. I met with HR at a career fair and they then sent me to an interview. Based on my background and what I'm into, I was directed to interview for a different role. I ended up interviewing 3 times and got the internship! The company culture is really family-oriented. I worked remotely during the pandemic, and they were great about giving me challenging and meaningful work even from home.
- Can you share an example from your past experience that demonstrates this skill?
- Walk me through your previous experience.
- What are you passionate about?
Mortgage Processor
Applied online and got a survey to complete within 24 hours. Then HR emailed for a phone interview, which was about 30 minutes, covering my background, interest in the role, and company/job details. Next, I had a F2F interview at their corporate office a week later. I met with a panel of five people in a friendly, stress-free setting. It was a behavioral interview focused on how I interact with others and fit in. Overall, it was a great experience, not rushed, and everyone was professional and prepared.
- Describe a time you made an error and how you resolved it.
Developer
The interview process involved a phone interview followed by an in-person interview. During the personal interview, a panel of 4 people asked pre-written questions and scenarios. I didn't get an offer, and the reason they gave didn't make sense. It seems like they should assess if candidates have the skills they're looking for earlier, so they don't waste people's time if they don't.
