Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FARFETCH.
Marketing
This was one of the worst interviews I've experienced. The recruiter seemed uninterested, was brief and dismissive, and didn't share any information about Farfetch, the role, or my background. They asked a couple of quick, basic questions, clearly not paying attention to my answers. The whole thing lasted under 10 minutes and gave a bad impression of the company. If Farfetch wants to attract good people, they should review their hiring team, as the recruiter didn't represent the company's stated values and culture.

Marketing Executive
I applied for different roles in the marketing and media operations team and was contacted by their recruiter, a french lady, who wanted to schedule a phone interview. She never called, always came back with excuses, and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled 3 times with the recruiter and never got a response to my emails or feedback. The hiring manager was unprofessional and disrespectful. They demand extensive experience but don't know basic adserving platforms. They want to know current salary but it's 2022 and salaries should be disclosed. They lack transparency on career progression, with inexperienced people in senior roles. They are trying to fool candidates.
- What is your current salary?
Marketing
It was a lot of interviews, 4 in total. All different stages: all with different people and some hard questions and presentations related to the job position. Everyone is super nice, and no trick questions. Be honest and don't dress too formally. Its very casual. Good experience overall
- How would your friends describe you?
