First there was a phone call interview to gauge interest level, salary needs, current working and personal situation, and also to tell you about how great LA is. After that, I was invited for an on site interview which included interviews with the Manager, Director, then Peers / Potential Co-Workers, and finally HR. The main questions were from the Manager and Director. It started with a resume overview and describing my experiences, then went into detailed questions about the job role. This whole thing took 3-4 hours and was all in one day. If I got selected, I got a call for an unofficial offer, then the official offer came a few weeks later.

Presentation Technical Behavioral

The interview was onsite in Gardena. Faraday Future paid for the flight, but I had to pay for the hotel, car rental and other stuff myself. The interview lasted about 4 hours and was mostly unstructured. I had to give a 15 minute presentation about myself and my experience. The 15 minutes wasn't strictly enforced, and it was more of a Q&A than a presentation, thankfully. Different engineers and managers came and went freely to interview me. Most questions were technical, but some were so-called competency-type questions. Faraday Future did offer me a position, but expected a VERY quick start even knowing I own a home outside of California. The salary was low, and stock options were offered to make up for the difference. However, the company wouldn't disclose any info about the stock options, like how many basis points they were worth or shares outstanding. I don't think the stock options will be worth much. The inflexibility about start date, low salary, sketchy stock options and weaselly recruiter were just too many red flags. As of today, my interview was in 2015, and I haven't been reimbursed for expenses (in the hundreds of dollars). I submitted an expense report less than a week after the interview. Faraday Future apparently only expects the rank-and-file to "move fast." I doubt I'll see that money again. Looking past just the treatment I received, one of the supposed benefits of working for Faraday Future is the caliber of engineers you will work with. But, when there are red flags, you know that other highly intelligent people are seeing them and moving on too. You have to wonder what kind of people are buying this hype. I would not recommend Faraday Future.

Had a 20-minute phone interview with two principal engineers. They asked some technical questions to check if my knowledge was suitable for an intern role. One question was about my recent work. No general questions were asked.
