The interview process had three rounds total and they were all super easy to set up. They really worked with my schedule and were nice every time. The first two interviews were in person and then the last one was over video.

You apply online and then get a call, usually within 2 days. If not, give them a call. Next, you'll have an in-person interview at the store with a manager. Be real, open, and nice. They're looking for honesty and to see if you're friendly and pay attention. Just a heads-up, you have to pass an easy online quiz, and they can't hire you if you have a felony.

Applied for the position and got a call within 24 hours with an interview date. Initially, there was confusion about the interview format, as it was supposed to be in person but the invite was vague. I assumed it was a phone screen due to the pandemic, which was my oversight. We rescheduled and had an in-person interview on-site. I met with two people, including an executive, and the conversation seemed to go well. The executive led the interview, appearing energetic and confident. I was contacted within 48 hours for a second interview. I had to travel over 300 miles for this interview. I met with the same hiring manager and another executive. Again, the executive led the discussion. This interview felt more confrontational, which I later learned was intentional to gauge my reaction under pressure. The long drive and lack of a meal affected my performance, and I wasn't prepared for the intense questioning. Interviewing with the executives gave me some hesitation, especially since they mentioned trying to dissuade me from the role. The hiring manager seemed stressed, reminding me of a previous stressful position with overbearing bosses. The hiring manager contacted me the following week to inform me they were proceeding with other candidates and offered some helpful advice. While the organization appears well-run with happy employees, the executives' intense demeanor made me feel grateful I wasn't offered the job, as work-life balance seemed unlikely. The position was reposted soon after, suggesting they are still searching for a 'unicorn' candidate, which might be difficult in northwest Indiana. They may be good at business but seem to misjudge talent. The ideal candidate needs strong technical/problem-solving skills and business acumen, acting as a liaison between facilities and upper management, which I excel at. Unfortunately, I couldn't demonstrate this due to the interview style. My advice to future candidates: be perfect.

Everyone was really nice and tried to make me feel comfortable. They asked basic questions about my best and worst skills. They also asked for an example of when I went above and beyond to make a customer happy. And they had me talk about a time when a customer was unhappy with their experience.
