First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
Assistant Manager
This was a really long interview process, it took about 8 weeks and I had more than 6 interviews. I spoke with people from different departments and job titles during this time. They didn't really give me a clear idea of how many interviews there would be.
- Could you tell me how you spend your free time outside of work?
- Do you think you would be a good cultural fit for our company?
Assistant Manager
You'll start with the Recruitment Manager, then the Department Manager, Division Head, Hotel Manager (HM), and finally the General Manager. They'll inquire about your experience and your interest in the brand. Make sure to research the property and think about how you can contribute to its success.
- What kind of leader are you?
Management Trainee
The interview mainly had questions about your management and problem-solving abilities. If you pass the group interview, the interviewer will then take you to another room for an interview with a manager.
- What actions would you take if a team member disagrees with you without a valid reason?
