This was the best interview process I've ever been through! It took about two weeks from when they first reached out to when I got the offer. The whole thing involved a few steps (a chat with a recruiter, a call with a manager, three interviews back-to-back, and then another short 15-minute interview), plus a take-home assignment. They gave feedback really fast. All the interviews showed how much everyone at Faire loves the company and its mission, which was awesome! Starting was also great because the onboarding was super organized and everyone was so friendly and willing to help. Even though there's a lot to learn with new systems and stuff, people are always there to lend a hand or answer questions!

The process took forever, like MONTHS, which is way too long for an entry-level gig. First, there was a 30-minute Zoom call. Then, I had to do this take-home assignment that took hours and a bunch of research. After that, it was a 1.5-hour panel interview with three people. I didn't make it to the last round, but it would have been another 30-minute interview. It was just too much for an entry-level role. Plus, it took like two weeks to hear back between each stage. The interviewers were super stiff and didn't really talk to me much, just asked questions. It was a pretty bad experience overall.

So the interview process was pretty solid, it was two phone calls initially (first with a recruiter, then with the sales manager) and then an onsite interview that lasted about an hour and a half with three people from the sales team. It was a really nice experience overall, everyone seemed really pumped about the company and was super outgoing and energetic. The actual onsite interview felt pretty chill, very casual. Unfortunately, they told me less than a week after the onsite that they thought I was maybe a bit overqualified given I have 3+ years of experience. I just wish they'd been upfront about that concern earlier, maybe on one of the first two calls, so I wouldn't have had to waste my time going onsite. They also didn't offer me the position because they weren't sure about the promotion and growth timeline given my background. Aside from that, the interview process itself was great.
