I had an initial call with HR where they asked basic questions like why I wanted to work for Faire and what the company does. After that, the next step was an automated coding test. I was told a passing score was over 750, and I scored over 800, but I still got rejected. The coding questions were easy to medium difficulty. There were 4 questions to be done in 70 minutes, which felt like a time crunch. I thought the questions could have been worded more simply, like LeetCode style, but they were more like HackerRank style.

The whole thing was super fast, like 2 weeks maybe? I'm a New Grad. Started with a non-technical recruiter chat. Right after that, I got a Codesignal test, and since I had a good score (790s) from before, I just sent that in. They got back to me really fast to set up the final stage: two technical interviews and one with the hiring manager. The technical interviews weren't typical Leetcode style; it was more about thinking through problems and coding them together, which was pretty cool. The hiring manager chat was all behavioral. Got the offer the next day. Seriously great experience. The recruiter was on top of things, and the engineers I talked to were awesome. Faire has some seriously bright people from top tech places. It's a fast-growing startup in a popular market with no real competition, and their offer in Toronto was the best I've seen, even beating FAANG salaries.

I first did a phone chat with HR, then a quick tech screen with an engineer. Later, I had a 3-hour onsite where I met with 3 engineers for a tech interview. They were all super nice! The main thing was coding ability, as I had to solve about 4-5 Leetcode-style questions total. After coding, I could ask them questions. The next day, HR called with the feedback and decision.
