Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process started with a screening call with HR. Then, I had interviews with managers. After that, there was a timed coding exercise. The final stage was a technical interview that included code review and systems design. Overall, it seemed like a reasonable process and the people were nice. However, in the end, I just got an automated email from their recruiting app with a "no-reply" address, no feedback, just stating I wasn't selected. Reflecting on it, I wondered if they actually have a good company culture that values people. I was going to reply to ask for feedback or a reason, but seeing the "no-reply" address made me feel it wasn't worth the effort.

Technical Behavioral

It was a phone call with the recruiter, followed by a call with the CTO. They wanted someone who could jump in with their existing tech stack and start contributing right away. During the technical interview, the CTO spent a lot of time talking about himself. I got the impression we wouldn't be a good culture fit if that's how they treat their developers, but they never got back to me.

Coding Behavioral

The whole interview thing took around 4 weeks. It started with a phone chat with the recruiter. After that, I got sent a coding challenge to do. The last part was an onsite interview at their main office where I met with an engineer and the hiring manager. The coding problems weren't too tough.
