First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at fab'rik.
Sales Associate
I got contacted for a phone interview with the store manager, it was about 30 minutes. After that, I was asked to come into the store to create three outfits using the clothes and accessories they had based on specific scenarios. This took an hour in the store. It's been two weeks and still no updates from them.
- Can you describe your sales approach?
Marketing Intern
The interview process felt pretty standard. The CMO interviewed me, which could be a bit much for an intern, but it gave a real sense of the company since it's a small team handling all the brand and store marketing nationwide. She was nice and direct, asking about my studies, career aspirations, strengths, weaknesses, and suitability for the role. I don't recall any questions designed to trip me up.
- What is your motivation for seeking an internship at fab'rik?
Personal Stylist
The interview process was pretty chill and I felt good about the questions they asked. They want to see if you can handle clients and if you get clothes. They're looking for someone who knows about clothes and how to dress different body types, and also someone with a great personality who is motivated to sell!
- How did you find out about us?
- Can you tell us how you handle working with clients?
- What do you know about clothes and dressing different body types?
Personal Stylist
You will first send in your resume via email. The company tends to call back right away, and they'll ask you some basic retail interview questions. After that, you'll get two different situations and need to pick out two complete outfits that fit the vibe for each. You'll also have to explain why you picked those specific clothes.
