Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a great experience, the company is very employee-focused. We had several sessions the same day with different interviewers, each lasting about half an hour. In total, there were 4 interviews with people from various roles, as well as internal company stakeholders. I was notified of my selection two weeks after the final interview.

F5 recruiter reached out after a connection on LinkedIn. I had a quick chat with the recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager a few days later. There was a slight hiccup with scheduling on my end.

Had a short interview with HR over ZOOM where they asked about my expected salary, reasons for leaving my current job, and notice period. HR mentioned there would be 3 interview rounds. They also stated the company doesn't offer benefits like AWS or annual bonuses. No first round interview happened. It's possible my expected salary was too high, but HR should have stated their budget in the job posting instead of misleading applicants. Another possibility is that HR assumed my contract role wasn't full-time based on my answer, which shows they can make assumptions and aren't generous with salary. Be careful when applying because of this.
