Coach
It was easy. They asked me about my training background and asked me to read out a class intro. Then they asked me to try out a class. That was it.
- Can you tell me about your fitness journey?
- Can you read out an introduction for a class?
- Could you lead a sample class?

First, I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, which went well. Then, I was invited back for two 45-minute classes. After that, I was asked to return a third time to teach a class again, all within about two weeks. However, during the third session, the main decision-maker didn't attend the scheduled meeting. The hiring manager then said I'd get an answer the following Monday, after I'd already done a 5-minute workout intro at home that I had to memorize on my own time (this was the fifth time I was there). On Tuesday, they followed up by asking me to come in at 5:15 AM to co-coach a class, as the decision-maker would be present. I refused to come back a sixth time without pay, especially after being promised an offer and having already invested so much time and effort. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful, and I felt my time and resources weren't respected by the decision-maker. They didn't follow up after I insisted I wouldn't return for a sixth visit.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Could you introduce yourself?

For the F45 interview, a big part is the circuit test. You gotta do a bunch of exercises and reps fast. It usually has different moves to check your fitness, how long you can go, and if you can follow directions when things get intense. You need to show you can do the moves well and quick. This test shows F45 what you're capable of physically and if you get their workout style and training methods.
- Why did you decide to become a coach?
