It was a terrible experience, I interviewed with a junior who apparently used to fly helicopters and a principal consultant. The junior was really arrogant and condescending. He got fixated on a really niche technical point just to show off his knowledge.

First, there was a technical test, which is a really good exercise if you're into penetration testing. Then, we had a 1-to-1 interview. The interview was packed with technical questions, so make sure you brush up on OWASP Top 10 before you go.

Technical Presentation

I went through 4 rounds of interviews with the team in South Africa. Three of these were technical interviews, and one was a report writing exercise. Everything seemed to go well until the end, when they unexpectedly brought up the requirement for a South African VISA, even though I hadn't received an offer yet. I could have gotten a VISA myself, but they needed some kind of offer or contact with an employer in SA first. It was a really frustrating recruitment process!
