Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at F.A.S.T. Global Marketing.
Account Executive
The interview process was the best I've ever experienced. My first interview was with the manager, who was very friendly despite my nervousness. The interview was informative and the career description really caught my eye. I was then invited to a second interview which involved a day of observing and a detailed breakdown of daily operations, plus they discussed opportunities for growth within the company. Following the observation day, I had a sit-down with the CEO where we discussed our backgrounds. He was incredibly inspiring and professional, someone I felt I could learn a lot from. I was thrilled to receive the job offer. Even though I had other offers from marketing and sales jobs, I'm very happy I chose to accept the position at F.A.S.T. Global Marketing.
- What are your career goals for the next 6 months, 2 years, and 5 years?
- What makes you the most deserving candidate for this business owner training opportunity compared to others?
Account Executive
You have three interviews in total. First, a quick 15-20 minute chat with Mr. Bolwala about your background and why this job is good for you. If they like you, you'll have another interview with Mr. Bolwala where he'll talk about the company, how you can grow, and the pay and benefits. If you decide to take the job, you'll spend a whole day with a corporate trainer doing field work. They want to see how you handle tasks and solve problems. Based on their feedback, you'll have a final interview to see if you got the position.
- Are you aiming for a management role in the next half-year?
Account Executive
The interview process is super quick since people leave here a lot. You'll do a full day "shadow" day. Get ready for a long day of interviews and doing boring tasks.
- The manager wants to know your strengths and weaknesses, how you pick up on a customer's body language, and how to handle a customer saying no.
- Manager asks: "Why do you want this job?"
