First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ezyVet.
Senior Software Developer
After I did the first interview for the job, they haven't told me anything. I don't know if I'm still being considered or not.
- Can you discuss your previous work experiences?
- What are your technical skills?
Software Engineer
The hiring process moved pretty fast. After I sent my resume and expressed my interest via email, I had a casual chat with an HR representative. We discussed things, and I decided to move forward. Then, I was given a coding assignment to complete at home. A day or two later, I went through several interviews covering both technical skills and personality.
- There was a technical test to do at home.
- There were technical discussions during the in-person interviews.
- There were personality discussions during the in-person interviews.
Software Developer
The whole thing took about two weeks and had three interviews. First up was HR for some general chit-chat. Then I had to do a PHP shopping cart thingy, which I sent in a few days before the next interview with two developers. That was a technical interview. The last one was with the Head of Engineering and the Chief Delivery Officer. Things were going well until that last interview. It felt like a replay of the HR chat, with the same questions. The CDO was super late, like 30 minutes, and I had to explain everything again. Honestly, it felt like they didn't care about my time, and when he finally showed up, he just said I'd probably have to work overtime because they're all about pushing people hard. A few days later, they called me around noon, but I missed it 'cause I was in a meeting. I called back ASAP, but didn't hear back until 4 PM the next day. They said they weren't moving forward, though the developers apparently liked my work. After seeing other reviews, I'm kinda glad I didn't get the job.
