First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ezoic.
Front End Engineer
It started off with a phone screen that went over basic questions about your resume. Afterward, I was sent a take-home assessment which asked more practical questions. Then after I was cleared for the next round, I was sent another take-home assessment the night before a two-hour interview. This was nothing too difficult, but being sent it without too much regard for your schedule is rough. Overall, I liked the people I talked to and Ezoic seems like a good company to work for but this process was too lengthy and required way too much time on the applicants part.
- Implement three things based on the take-home during the interview.
- Discuss your resume and answer basic work-related questions.
Front End Developer
The interview was supposed to be a thirty minute discussion about a project I found exciting, challenging, or rewarding. I was looking forward to it because Ezoic is a company I admire and would love to join. However, the interviewer wasn't available, so it turned into a 30 minute chat about company culture and benefits instead. We didn't talk about my background or the project they asked me to prepare for. They mentioned I'd need to do a technical interview next. The day after, I found out I wasn't moving forward for the role.
- What's your React experience?
- Which Ezoic dev team interests you most?
Front End Developer
They talked about the company for about a third of the time, and then asked questions about your projects. Make sure you know your code and how you made things.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at this company?
