They had medium level questions on oops and moderate dsa like strings, linkedList and bitwise. Communication is important. Total of 5 rounds including OA. OA questions were very difficult, consisting of number theory and game theory.

So there were 6 rounds in total. First was a written coding test with 3 coding questions, 2 of average difficulty and one a bit harder. Then there was a group discussion (GD) which acted as a filter, qualifying about 70% of participants. It was mainly to see if people spoke up. After that, there were 3 rounds of in-person technical interviews. The last round was an in-person interview with someone from HR, I think, but they asked technical questions too, which was a bit confusing.

The interview process started with an online coding test that had two data structure problems. I had to write code to pass all test cases within an hour. After passing that, I was invited to a face-to-face round in Hyderabad. The first round involved discussing my past experience, asking basic software design questions, and then a design task: designing a software for national elections, complete with UML diagrams and a problem-solving approach. The interviewer was attentive and seemed engaged. The second round was a coding round focused on data structures and algorithms. I was asked to code for binary tree traversal and discuss multithreading concepts. However, I noticed the interviewer seemed to lack fundamental knowledge in DS/algorithms, even appearing surprised by basic concepts like tail recursion and compiler optimizations for recursive functions. While I aimed to discuss code optimization for efficiency, it felt like the interviewer lacked practical experience in a hardcore product company. It's also worth noting that Eze Software isn't really a product company, despite what the recruiter claimed. It seems they're establishing a Hyderabad center as a backup for their US operations, focusing mainly on support and enhancements with older technologies like WPF/Windows applications, rather than cutting-edge work.
