First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eze Software.
QA Analyst
I had a phone call with HR in Boston and the interview was done via Skype online. It lasted about 30 minutes and the HR person asked about my background and work experience. It was convenient that they scheduled it at my availability, HKT2100, which is morning in Boston. The phone interview was comfortable, and I received a confirmation email to attend a personal interview at the Hong Kong office. The personal interview with the manager at the Hong Kong office went really well. It took an hour, during which they learned about my background and work experience.
- How would you approach testing the Google homepage?
- What test cases can you suggest for the Google homepage?
QA Analyst
Had an initial phone call with a recruiter. It was pretty light, mostly just background questions, my interest in the company and the role. Then I had an on-site interview with one person from QA and two from Connectivity. They asked about my background, my interest in the industry, what Eze does, and some logic questions. After that, I had another on-site interview with two people from QA. They asked about my background, my interest in the position, and more logic questions. Finally, I met with the Director of QA, who asked about my interest in the industry, for specific examples of my strengths, and why they should hire me.
- Could you solve the light bulb switch problem?
- How would you sort socks in drawers?
- What if a castle is separated by a moat?
Senior Software QA Engineer
They made me do an online test first, then 4 Skype interviews, followed by 3 in-person interviews at their Hyderabad office. It was a terrible experience because by the time of the in-person interviews, they had already decided not to hire me.
