Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Exyte Group.
Engineer
The interview was quick and to the point. The questions were very specific to the job. They really focused on the technical side of things, which was great.
- Tell me about your communication skills.
Project Engineer
First meeting was a web meeting less than 2 weeks after applying for introduction. The second meeting was on-site 3 weeks later. Received an offer via email a week after that. It was an interesting, equal-footing conversation and they showed genuine interest in getting to know me, my work style, and my abilities. I was also able to get a pretty good impression of the company and the future team through my questions (as much as one can tell beforehand...)
- Tell me about your past experiences, from university to working as a student and in the professional world.
- What makes you want to pursue this specific role?
- Why do you believe you are a good fit for this position?
Engineer
The interviewer spent most of the time talking about themselves, which made for a strange interview. It was unclear what each interviewer was looking for.
- Did your internship teach you a lot?
