SAP Project Manager
The overall interview experience was good, but the HR feedback after the final round was significantly delayed, taking about 7 weeks. Initially, HR indicated they wanted to extend an offer and even sent a draft. However, two weeks later, they sent another email stating they no longer wished to hire me simply because I inquired about matching my salary to industry standards. I believe it's a normal part of the final discussion for a candidate to ask for a salary increase. Rescinding an offer for this reason seems unreasonable. HR could have simply stated their offered salary, and I would have accepted. Instead, they kept me as a backup option for an extended period, which I found unfair.

Project Manager
The interview process was great. I had an initial phone conversation with the company recruiter and was then flown over to Dublin to interview in person. The interview day was very relaxed and attended by around 16-20 of the Exyte team - ranging from industry professionals, HR etc. The recruitment day was in three parts - an interview, a team building exercise and a role play. All elements where relaxed and the people I met were sociably and put you at ease. There was a real focus on getting to know you, and seeing if your personality would fit within the team. It didn't feel so much like an interview, but more of a meet and great. They offered my the position but because of my partner was offered a job elsewhere, I declined to proceed further. I got the feeling exyte would have been an excellent company to work for, and had it not been for my personal circumstances, I would have definitely accepted and looked forward to the work.

Business Analyst
I applied for the Business Analyst role in Singapore via LinkedIn. A few weeks after applying, Singapore HR called me. The first call with HR was a basic check of my profile and standard HR questions. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with the assistant to the general manager. After passing that, I had a third round at the office with the hiring manager who flew in from Germany. He gave me an analytic skill check test which I passed. The worst part of the whole process was that I had to travel to the far end of Singapore twice, spending $40 each time, and when I didn't hear back after that, I followed up but got no reply, which felt highly unprofessional.

Insurance Administrator
So, I had an interview for an Insurance Administrator role. First, I chatted with an external recruiter who was super nice and helpful. Then, I had a meeting with the Hiring Manager. We talked about the job, and they seemed really positive about it. After that, I was asked to travel to their office for an in-person meeting. It felt like it went really well, and the HR, hiring manager, and future colleagues all seemed to think so too. But honestly, there was zero coordination between them! The HR, colleagues, and hiring manager were all confused and asked some of the same questions. I've been to a lot of interviews, and I'm pretty experienced, but I've never seen such a mess. After waiting two weeks, I got an email saying I was 'too ambitious and energetic' for the job, which is wild because that's what they said they wanted. Super disappointing experience.
