First, an HR rep contacted me for a general Q&A phone call. After that, she set up a Skype interview with the department director. However, when the call was supposed to happen, the manager called me instead, saying there was a mix-up and he doesn't use Skype. He ended the interview by saying they'd fly me down later that month for an onsite. Later that week, HR called again for another Skype interview. At the end of that call, they told me they'd email about the onsite timeframe, and clarified I'd need to drive to their office, not be flown down as the director had mentioned. I got the email a week later.

The interview process spanned two days. On the first day, they talked about the job duties, which involve taking client calls and helping them with troubleshooting. It was mentioned that engineers usually start here and can move to other roles later. I was questioned on C programming and TCP/IP. For TCP/IP, a problem was presented, and I had to explain how I'd solve it. For C programming, a code snippet was shown, and I had to say what it does. After a few weeks, I had another interview with a manager, likely my direct supervisor. This manager focused on behavioral questions like future career goals and my perspective on the role. Following that, an HR representative asked more behavioral questions and inquired about salary expectations. A few weeks after that, I received a rejection letter. Despite not getting an offer, it was a valuable experience as it was my first interview.

I applied online and got a call from HR. We had a 30-minute phone screen, and then they set up a face-to-face interview for a few days later. The face-to-face was with two managers, about 30 minutes each. They asked general questions about my past experience. The manager had a poker face, so I couldn't tell what they were thinking. They said I'd hear back in a few days, but I never did. I tried to reach out, but no response.
