You'll have one interview. A recruiter, not someone from the department you're interviewing for, handles all pre- and post-interview communications. Security is really strict here. You have to go through several gates to get to the parking lot, and you need to be buzzed into buildings and show your ID. There are also barriers to stop people from entering the actual work area. The interview is mostly behavioral questions, but the interviewers are understanding and will let you take a moment to think before answering. They're also happy to answer your questions and seem genuinely interested in what they do.

I applied for an entry-level job packing and shipping prescription medications. A third-party recruiter called me to discuss the role and what the company was looking for, like enthusiasm and personality. The recruiter was nice. When I got to the interview, it was like a cattle call with several department supervisors interviewing. The supervisor I spoke with and I didn't connect. He just stared at me and read generic questions from a booklet. My attempts to lighten the mood were met with silence. When I asked about the corporate culture, he whispered that the workplace was "very *diverse*." I think it sounds like a decent place to work, despite the low pay. Sometimes you just don't click with an interviewer. If I had interviewed with a different supervisor, I might have heard back.

I had an interview with an ESI recruiter, followed by a phone interview with two pharmacists. Then, I had an in-person interview with two more pharmacists. My journey ended there because the job wasn't offered to me. Honestly, I hadn't interviewed since 1986 and was super nervous and out of practice with the questions.
