First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EXOS.
General Manager
The hiring manager was really supportive and communicated well throughout the process. But, things weren't super clear and it felt a bit all over the place. It took a really long time, and I don't think it's fair to have candidates spend so much time interviewing before getting an offer.
- Considering your past experience, how do you believe it fits with our company culture?
Performance Coach
I had a phone interview with the recruiter. They asked general questions about my experience and background. Specifically, they wanted to know about my experience coaching the general population and my skills in strength training and athletic development.
- Tell me about your coaching experience.
- What experience do you have coaching the general population?
- How would you describe your strength training skills?
Vice President
I went through 5 rounds of interviews with 5 different people, including the head of technology, a trader, the head of HR, and two finance folks. The interviews were mostly technical, focusing on theoretical discussions about my domain expertise rather than specific quantitative questions. There were no behavioral questions, although the HR interview was fit-focused but not full of personality questions.
- Can you describe the opportunities you perceive at Exos?
- What motivated you to pursue this opportunity?
HRIS Administrator
I went through three rounds of interviews. First was an initial screening. The second was with the HR manager, which was a bit long and felt like they already had someone in mind, not really open to new candidates. The last interview was with the director of the department, very quick, seemed like a nice guy, but didn't add much substance, basically just a quick hello. They said I'd hear back the next day but never did. It's a shame because they got my hopes up and then ghosted me, not even a rejection email after a month.
- What would you do if you observed a colleague performing a process or procedure incorrectly?
