So, first I had this 30-minute phone screen. After that, I was given a 3-hour writing assignment. Then, I had a Zoom call with a manager and after that, I had another Zoom call with an MD. The next morning, I got a call from HR. She told me I'd get an offer the next week and that she knew I was a good fit from the beginning. She also talked about the benefits, start date, and training period. Then she mentioned it was her last day and someone else in HR would take over. I was super excited because things have been rough for a long time, and I thought my hard times were finally over. I even told my family and friends and bought new running shorts. But then, the following Tuesday, I got a rejection email from the new HR person. Even though the MD told me to reach out with questions, they never replied to my email. I don't think there were any red flags in my application.

The interview process involved three in-person interviews, one written assessment, and one phone interview. It took about three months, but I enjoyed it. Interviewers were from various departments, which was interesting. They asked many questions and were genuinely interested in my answers.
- What's your most valuable skill?

The interview process was pretty good. It started with submitting my resume and cover letter. HR reached out a few days later for a phone screen. They told me more about Exiger and the job, and asked about my background, experience, and interests. It was a typical phone screen, not too hard. If that went well, HR set up a timed, basic writing test. I won't share details about the test itself for company reasons, but it was manageable with some knowledge and tools. Finally, HR arranged an in-person interview at the office where I met with several people from different teams. It was pretty relaxed and felt like a natural conversation.
