First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Exide Industries.
Assistant Manager
The interview process was good, but it took a long time to get finalized, almost 3 months. There were 3 rounds: technical, technical, and an HR round. After that, it took a week to receive the offer.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you handled?
Assistant Manager
It was a smooth hiring process. The interviews covered Factory HR, statutory compliances, contract labor management, TPM, and manpower handling. The focus was on negotiation, the union grievance redressal process, and long-term settlement.
- Can you discuss statutory compliances?
Management Trainee
The interview process started with a Group Discussion (GD) round. It was case study based, but pretty straightforward, with about 17 people in the group, so it was quite chaotic. Following the GD, there was a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the GM HR, EVP, and RSM. They were all very cooperative and polite. The questions were mainly about sales, like what value you'd bring, why you chose Exide, why sales specifically, and your career aspirations. They also asked about your job expectations.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What makes you want to work for Exide?
- What draws you to a sales role?
