It started with a recruiter call, then I spoke with the team's leadership, and finally, I had a more relaxed chat with a senior manager. The questions were pretty standard. While I didn't have the exact niche experience they were looking for, they seemed more interested in my motivation and how fast I can learn. It was a pleasant experience overall.

The first part was a behavioral interview on campus with two people from the Finance team. Then, there were 3 more behavioral interviews on site with VP level people. They didn't ask any finance or energy specific questions, just behavioral. Both interviews really focused on why Exelon and why energy. The interviewers were happy to answer questions, so make sure you have some ready to ask them.

I applied through my university and had a 1 on 1 interview on campus. Then two weeks later I was brought in to the office for two separate hour long interviews. All the interviews were behavioral. I think having a stronger finance background would have helped me out, as I interviewed with someone in Investor Relations and had no idea what that job even entailed.
