First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Exela Technologies.
Software Engineer
The interview process had easy and medium level questions. They mostly asked basic SQL (CRUD operations, stored proc, functions), asp.net, c#, MVC, LinQ (Grid related all question, Dictionary, hash table, garbage collection, error handling), fine tuning, and design pattern related questions.
- SQL queries
- C# syntax
Software Engineer
The interview process included two virtual technical rounds where I was asked to provide technical solutions to problems. After the interviews, I was informed that the rejection was solely due to salary expectations, as they asked me to lower my demands. I did lower my demands to a reasonable extent. However, they then used excuses that my interview wasn't good enough to offer the salary I was asking for and ultimately dropped their offer. They should find better ways to negotiate on financial terms.
- What is the logic for the following code? 1. input : ["apple","apply","appy fiz"] output : "app"
- How would you query data from a table with the same salary?
- Can you provide a prototype code for a form in JavaScript?
Software Engineer
The interview process started with a face-to-face direct interview. After that, there was an HR round. If your skills align with their current projects, you'll be considered. Even with extensive knowledge, if it's not in their required domain, you might not be selected. So, carefully read the Job Description before your interview.
- Can you answer basic technology specific questions?
- Do you have specific skills that meet the requirement to fill the spot in the product?
