The recruiting process was pretty good, and the recruiters were responsive. Interview turn-over times were really fast, which was appreciated. The final interview involved meeting with several Directors and Senior Directors. However, overall, a few interviewers didn't seem interested or engaged in the conversation and were quite dismissive. One interviewer didn't even introduce himself and didn't give me any time to ask questions.

I applied online and a recruiter from Exact Sciences reached out for a 30-minute phone screen. Then, I had a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager. Following that, I had an onsite interview with six team members: Director, Associate Director, Lab Supervisor, Hiring Manager, Project Manager, and an HR rep. Each person interviewed me for about 30 minutes using the STAR method, focusing on company core values. Half the interviews were in-person, half were by phone. They really wanted to know why I was interested in Exact Sciences and this specific role. After the onsite, the hiring manager called me for a quick 20-minute chat to check my interest and ask final questions. I got an offer about a week later. Honestly, the interview process was a bit of a letdown. The onsite wasn't well-organized and felt unprofessional – dial-in numbers were missing, no business cards, and I was even told to let myself out! I also didn't realize half the interviews would be by phone and didn't feel excited about the job or company afterwards; it felt rushed. The team members' experience didn't really wow me either, it didn't feel like a top-tier company, though the people seemed friendly and it looked like a good work environment. I turned down the offer because it was way below market value, which, along with the onsite experience, made me feel undervalued.

The entire interview process was conducted via Zoom, which was suitable during the pandemic. The job responsibilities were clearly outlined, and I had excellent discussions with everyone I spoke with. I met with individuals from various sites to understand their requirements and to introduce myself. Overall, it was a positive interview experience. The HR recruiters were very responsive and timely.
