Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Evolve.

I had a casual conversation with the former CEO, Laurin Thienes. It was more about my background, personality, and work ethic than my actual photo editing skills. A senior staff member was there too, mostly observing. It felt welcoming and pleasant.
- Do you consider yourself a team player?
Photo Editor
It was an in-person interview, fairly straightforward. They mentioned they were more interested in the personality of candidates than their experience or skill level because they would have to spend so much time with them. I didn't hear back until about two months later when I was offered the job. I suspect they had hired someone else who didn't work out before they contacted me.
- What's your experience with Lightroom?
Photo Editor
The interview was super chill, more like a chat than a stressful Q&A. We chatted about my past jobs, what I'm good at, and how the company is blowing up and needs more people.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
