QA Engineer
I had 5 technical rounds for this QA Engineer role. The interview was rescheduled about 4-5 times because the panel wasn't available, but that was fine. After I cleared all the technical rounds, I didn't get an offer. The reason given was that HR was hesitant about my job change reason, which was to look for a better opportunity. I had already mentioned this reason during the first call with HR.
- Tell me about your testing experience.
- How have you handled small teams in the past?
Quality Analyst
They have 3-4 face-to-face interviews. Questions are conceptual and each round lasts for 45-60 min. The HR here are pathetic. They do not communicate properly. Once you clear one round, they will say they will schedule the next round. After 2 weeks they will schedule you for the next round, you need to follow up with them. And when you have the last round remaining and you ask about the round, they say that as of now they don't have a requirement and they will contact when they have a requirement. What the hell is this. Then what for 4 rounds were conducted when HR was not aware about the requirement.
- What are your testing concepts?
- Tell me about yourself.
Quality Analyst
For experienced folks, there are three technical rounds. One is conducted by offshore folks and two by the onshore team. After that, there's an HR round. The whole process is a bit slow, it takes about three weeks to a month to get everything done.
- Tell me about your testing knowledge and SQL.
- Review the job description and your resume and be ready to discuss.
