First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Evolent.
Project Manager
The interview was really well-organized, smooth, and professional. The team was super welcoming, supportive, and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable. They were thorough and communicated clearly, making the whole thing enjoyable and inspiring. It left a really good impression.
- Could you introduce yourself and describe your past work experience?
Project Manager
The recruiter first reached out to set up a 30-minute initial phone screen to go over the role and confirm my identity. Next, I talked with the hiring manager who was driving during our conversation. She ended the interview a bit early and seemed unsure when I asked for her feedback. I was then told I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks about moving forward. However, I never got a response, and it's been almost a month, even after I contacted the recruiter again. I feel like it's bad etiquette not to communicate promptly and accurately, regardless of the job offer outcome.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenge and needed to respond rapidly?
Project Manager
It was a really good experience overall. I had four meetings in person. First, I met with the hiring manager one-on-one. Then, I had a meeting with two team members. After that, I met with the whole team. Finally, I met with the director. All the conversations were pretty relaxed and mostly focused on my background and what I've done. There were some typical behavioral questions, but not many.
- Can you elaborate on your past experiences?
- What are some examples from your experience that are relevant to this role?
- Tell me about a past project experience.
