First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Evolent.
Executive Assistant
I applied online and then got an email to set up a call with a recruiter. The recruiter asked some basic questions like to tell them about myself and why I was interested in Evolent. After that, they said they would set up a time to talk with the hiring manager. I got another email to set up the second call, even though I was going on vacation soon, but I made it work. I felt that interview went really well, and the hiring manager said they would follow up within two weeks. To my surprise, I got an email that same afternoon to set up an interview with the Arlington team. I scheduled that for about a week later. It was supposed to be four 30-minute interviews, but the day before, they told me the president couldn't make it, so two other members would do their interviews together instead. That was a bit strange, but I get how schedules can change. I did both interviews and thought they went great. The ladies explained what they do and what they'd expect from the new hire. I was really excited after the interviews, thinking I'd hear back soon. My interview was on a Thursday, and I emailed the recruiter on Monday afternoon to thank them and ask for updates. They replied that they didn't have any news yet. I waited another week and followed up again by email. I didn't hear back until the next day, and they told me they went with an internal hire. I asked for feedback, but they said they couldn't give any due to policy. The whole process took a little over a month. It would have been nice to get some feedback for my time, but overall the experience wasn't bad. Everyone answered my questions during the interviews and seemed genuinely interested.

Executive Assistant
I applied online and a corporate recruiter emailed me a day or two later. We set up a phone interview for the next week, which went really well. The recruiter and I really connected, and he even gave me his cell number and we linked up on LinkedIn. We kept in touch for about a week. Then, the following week, I had my phone interview with one of the two executives, which also went great, and I got good feedback from the recruiter. A week after that, I had an in-person interview with the other executive and another EA who was helping out. Both of those interviews went really well in my opinion. After that, not much feedback. Two weeks after the in-person interview, I contacted the recruiter. He informed me that they didn't have the budget for the role and decided to cut the position. Unprofessional, right? What a waste of my time! Thanks for nothing, Evolent Health, for wasting over a month of my time and showing your true colors.

Executive Assistant
Standard hiring process: first a phone screen with the recruiter, then another call with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person meeting with the hiring manager and other team members. They looked over my resume and background. It was pretty relaxed and I liked it overall.
