I had a phone interview that was pretty fast. I talked to 4 different managers. They all thought I was a good fit and wanted to hire me. I got the offer the day after the interview. I finished all the paperwork in about two weeks and then signed the offer. I started a month after that.

I applied online and got an email the next day for a phone interview. I talked to a recruiting coordinator about my past jobs and why I wanted to leave my current one. About 5 days later, they emailed me to come in for an in-person interview. I met with the hiring manager and two team members one by one. They asked standard experience questions and some situational ones like 'how would you handle this situation?'. It felt pretty relaxed and friendly. After the on-site, they asked for references. A few days after that, the hiring manager called and offered me the job. I took a day to think and then tried to negotiate salary with HR. They came down a little, but I accepted. I sent in all the paperwork and started about 3 weeks later.

It was a quick process, spanning two weeks. It started with a screening interview, then a phone interview, and finally an in-person interview with several interviewers. The initial phone interviews were standard. The in-person interview was also pretty standard, no tests, but they did ask about my experience with Microsoft project management software and my ability to learn new software fast. I didn't get the job because I didn't have enough project management experience for what they were looking for.

  • Please explain the project management process as you understand it.
