Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at eVestment.
Analyst
I took a test, then went through four interviews. The last one was 3 hours long. A week later, I was told I got the job, but the position was pulled. The HR rep told me about a new director and that the role no longer fit my timeline. They then offered me another position that paid 10k less a year.
- Tell me about your experience with behavioral questions.
- How comfortable are you with various processes?
Engagement Analyst
The interview process was great overall. It kicked off with a phone screen by HR, followed by another phone interview with a team member. Then there was a 2-3 hour onsite interview involving various employees from London and Atlanta. It was nice that they treated me like a person. The final interview was with the Managing Director, which was the most challenging interview I've ever had, with tough questions that really tested my fit for the role. I did get the offer in the end, so I guess I managed to answer well enough. The whole experience was great, though the final interview was quite scary.
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
- Do you have any behavioral examples to share?
Analyst
I applied online and a recruiter reached out for a phone screening. I had a brief chat with the recruiter about the position, and a few days later, I interviewed with the hiring manager over the phone. Since I'm not local, the next step was a video call via Skype with the manager and a team member. Finally, they brought me out to the location for interviews with multiple team members, an executive, and the hiring manager. The recruiter made the whole process really smooth and easy for me. It was a great experience!
- Could you describe your understanding of this role?
