Senior Software Engineer
Had two interviews lined up. The first was a standard chat with HR to check for cultural fit, which went fine. The second interview, with a developer, was scheduled. On the interview day, I logged into Teams, and after a bit, the developer showed up to say they had a crisis and needed to reschedule. I get that stuff happens in this industry. The only issue? They never actually rescheduled.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Software Developer
It was a pretty straightforward process. They asked me about my previous jobs and experiences, the technologies I've used, and which ones I preferred. They also inquired about my commitment to the company and if I'd be willing to put in extra hours occasionally without pay, though they said it wouldn't be a regular thing. Turns out that's not quite true, as 9+ hour days are pretty standard here.

- Tell me about your previous jobs and experiences.
- What kind of technologies have you worked with?
